Why Wii U The Amazing Spider Man 2 is Necessary
As a lifelong Spider-Man fan, I was disappointed when I heard that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was not being released on the Wii U. I felt like the Wii U was the perfect platform for a Spider-Man game, and I was sure that it would have been a lot of fun to swing around New York City and fight crime using the Wii U’s GamePad controller.
After playing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, I can say that I was right. The game is a lot of fun, but it would have been even better on the Wii U. The GamePad controller would have been perfect for controlling Spider-Man’s web-slinging abilities, and it would have been great to be able to use the touchscreen to interact with the environment.
I’m not sure why the developers decided not to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on the Wii U, but I hope that they reconsider in the future. The Wii U is a great platform for games, and it would be a shame if Spider-Man fans missed out on the chance to play this game.
