As a child of the 1970s, I grew up idolizing the members of KISS. I had posters of them on my wall, their albums on my turntable, and their action figures in my toy box. Of all the KISS members, my favorite was Peter Criss, the drummer and Catman. I loved his wild stage persona and his amazing drumming skills.
When I was 10 years old, my parents surprised me with a Peter Criss action figure for my birthday. I was over the moon! I played with that action figure for hours on end, re-creating my favorite KISS songs and imagining that I was part of the band.
That Peter Criss action figure is still one of my most prized possessions. It reminds me of a simpler time, when rock and roll was king and anything was possible. It also reminds me of the power of music to bring people together and inspire dreams.

I’m a huge Kiss fan, so when I saw this Loyal Subjects – BST AXN Kiss Catman 5 Action Figure (Net), I had to have it. It’s a really cool figure, and it’s even better in person than it looks online. The paint job is great, and the articulation is really good. The figure is also pretty big, so it looks great on display.
I’ve had this figure for a few weeks now, and I’ve been playing with it a lot. It’s a lot of fun to pose and play with, and it’s really durable. I’ve dropped it a few times, and it hasn’t even chipped the paint.

Why a Peter Criss Action Figure is Necessary
As a lifelong fan of KISS, I have always been disappointed by the lack of Peter Criss action figures. While there are plenty of figures of the other members of the band, Peter Criss has been largely ignored. This is a shame, as Peter Criss is an essential part of KISS’s history and legacy.
Peter Criss was the band’s original drummer and co-songwriter. He was responsible for some of KISS’s most iconic songs, including “Beth,” “Black Diamond,” and “Rock and Roll All Nite.” He was also known for his unique stage persona, which included wearing a cat makeup and a fur coat.
Peter Criss left KISS in 1980, but he continued to make music and perform live. He rejoined the band in 1996 and remained with them until his death in 2017.
