I’ve always been a curious person. I love to explore new places and try new things. But what I love most is experiencing the local culture through food. That’s why I decided to embark on a journey around the world with no reservationsand no stomach.

I started my journey in Asia, where I ate everything from steaming bowls of noodles to sizzling plates of curry. I then made my way to Europe, where I savored everything from flaky croissants to rich chocolate mousse. From there, I headed to South America, where I feasted on grilled meats, fresh fruit, and flavorful stews. And finally, I finished my journey in Africa, where I sampled everything from roasted goat to spicy soups.

Along the way, I met some amazing people, learned about new cultures, and had some of the best food of my life. But more importantly, I learned that the best way to experience a new place is to open your mindand your stomachto new experiences.

As for this blog, what started as a personal blog for my books has now transformed into an informative platform. Here, I share insights, answer queries, and continue to document my journey – a mixture of tips, secrets, and life stories. This blog has become a space for connection, learning, and sharing.

I live in Leicester with my three sons and boyfriend Scott – and a cantankerous cat called Moggy. I also bake brownies and sell them online after finishing as a finalist on The Great British Bake Off in 2011.
