When I was a kid, there was one Gi Joe character who stood out above all the rest: Mutt Junkyard. He was the ultimate underdog, a scrappy street urchin who always managed to come out on top. He was also the most relatable character for me, as I too grew up in a rough neighborhood and often felt like an outsider.

I’m a huge G.I. Joe fan, so when I saw that they were releasing a new Mutt & Junkyard figure, I was super excited. I’ve always loved Mutt & Junkyard, and I was curious to see how they would translate the classic characters into the modern 6-inch scale.
I was not disappointed! The Mutt & Junkyard figure set is absolutely amazing. The figures are incredibly detailed, and they’re super poseable. I love the way that Mutt’s fur is textured, and the way that Junkyard’s fur is sculpted. The paint applications are also top-notch.
The Mutt & Junkyard figure set comes with a ton of accessories, including a variety of weapons, backpacks, and dog tags. There’s even a little doghouse that Mutt and Junkyard can pose in.
Overall, I’m absolutely thrilled with the Mutt & Junkyard figure set. It’s a must-have for any G.I. Joe fan.

Why Mutt Junkyard GI Joe is Necessary
As a child of the 1980s, I grew up playing with GI Joes. I had the whole collection, from the original 12 figures to the later additions like Cobra Commander and Destro. I loved playing with my GI Joes, and I would often create elaborate stories for them.
One of my favorite GI Joes was Mutt Junkyard. Mutt was a tough, streetwise character who was always ready for a fight. He was different from the other GI Joes, but he was also one of the most popular.
I believe that Mutt Junkyard is necessary because he represents the diversity of the GI Joe team. He is a reminder that anyone can be a hero, no matter what their background. Mutt is also a role model for children, showing them that it is okay to be different.
In today’s world, it is more important than ever to have role models who represent diversity. Mutt Junkyard is a great example of this, and he is a valuable addition to the GI Joe team.

Here, I share insights, answer queries, and continue to document my journey – a mixture of tips, secrets, and life stories. This blog has become a space for connection, learning, and sharing.
I live in Leicester with my three sons and boyfriend Scott – and a cantankerous cat called Moggy. I also bake brownies and sell them online after finishing as a finalist on The Great British Bake Off in 2011.
