What is a Gammon Drum Set?

A Gammon drum set is a type of drum set that is designed for use with a marching band. It typically consists of a bass drum, snare drum, two tom-toms, and a cymbal. Gammon drum sets are often made of wood or metal, and they come in a variety of sizes to accommodate different marching bands.

What are the different types of Gammon Drum Sets?

  • Electronic Gammon Drum Sets: These are Gammon Drum Sets that are powered by electricity. Electronic Gammon Drum Sets typically produce a more consistent sound than acoustic Gammon Drum Sets, and they are often used by marching bands in indoor competitions.
