Crazy Brave: A Memoir of a Life-Changing Journey Into the Wild (First-Person Account)

Crazy Brave: A Memoir is a powerful and moving account of one woman’s journey through trauma, addiction, and recovery. Written by award-winning author and poet, Joy Harjo, Crazy Brave is a story of resilience and hope.

As a young woman, Harjo struggled with addiction and mental illness. She was in and out of hospitals and jails, and she often felt like she was going crazy. However, Harjo eventually found her way back to her roots, and she began to use her art as a way to heal herself and to connect with others.

Crazy Brave is a story of how Harjo found her voice and her purpose. It is a story of how she survived and thrived, even in the face of great adversity. Harjo’s memoir is a reminder that no matter how difficult life may seem, there is always hope.
