Why Coca Cola Barbie After The Walk is Necessary
As a child of the ’90s, I grew up with Coca-Cola Barbie. She was my favorite doll, and I loved playing with her. I would pretend that she was going on adventures with me, and we would have so much fun together.
When I got older, I stopped playing with Coca-Cola Barbie. But I never forgot her. She represented a simpler time in my life, when the only thing I had to worry about was playing with my toys.
Recently, I was reminded of Coca-Cola Barbie when I saw the new After The Walk collection. This collection is inspired by the real-life story of Ashley Graham, who walked the runway for the first time at the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
I was immediately drawn to this collection because it celebrates diversity and self-expression. Ashley Graham is a role model for young girls, and I think it’s important for them to see that they can be anything they want to be, no matter what their size or shape.

I live in Leicester with my three sons and boyfriend Scott – and a cantankerous cat called Moggy. I also bake brownies and sell them online after finishing as a finalist on The Great British Bake Off in 2011.
