I grew up watching Scooby-Doo. I loved the mystery, the suspense, and the lovable characters. But my favorite character was always Daphne. She was smart, brave, and stylish. I wanted to be just like her.
So when I was a kid, I would play dress-up as Daphne. I would put on my pink sweater, my blue skirt, and my knee-high boots. I would even put on a blonde wig. I would pretend to solve mysteries with Scooby-Doo and the gang.
I loved being Daphne. She was everything I wanted to be: a strong, independent woman who could do anything she set her mind to.
When I got older, I stopped watching Scooby-Doo. But I never forgot Daphne. She was always my favorite character.
So when I heard that Barbie was going to be made into Daphne, I was so excited. I couldn’t wait to see my favorite character come to life in a new way.
